About Qin Shengyi：

Qin Shengyi, a professor level senior engineer, an expert enjoying the special allowance of the State Council, a national outstanding professional and technical talent, and a member of the 12th CPPCC National Committee, has successively served as the research and development engineer of Jinan Foundry Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry, the general manager of Beijing Great Wall Foundry Co., Ltd., and is now the director of the State Key Laboratory for Silicon Sand Resources Utilization, and the chairman of Beijing Renchuang Technology Group Co., Ltd.
        Born in November 1961 in Yuexi County, Anhui Province, graduated from Nanjing Institute of Technology with a major in Casting in 1984; I graduated from Peking University with a Master's degree in Business Administration in 2002.
        Since being assigned to the Jinan Foundry Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry in 1984, I have achieved fruitful results in independent innovation and scientific research. In 1987, I completed the first generation of scientific research achievements - creating precision casting material film sand from desert aeolian sand as raw material, and won the third prize of ministerial level science and technology; In 1989, the second generation of scientific research achievements were completed, replacing expensive imported zircon sand with desert wind blown sand, and developing a new type of precision casting material, high-temperature resistant coated sand, filling an international gap in the casting industry. It won the first prize of the Ministry of Mechanical and Electrical Technology Progress Award in 1990 and the National Invention Award in 1991; It has also won 1 Geneva International Invention Gold Award, 1 China Patent Gold Award, and a total of 5 provincial and ministerial level Science and Technology Progress First Prizes. Up to now, more than 700 invention patents have been developed around the utilization of desert sand resources, and independently industrialized. Seven emerging fields have been developed, including "sand casting, sand to increase oil (gas), sand to control water, sand to promote agriculture, sand to build, sand to control sand, and sand to promote health", creating a strategic emerging industry marked by the use of sand - the modern sand industry.
        The Renchuang sand industry has received high attention and care from the leaders of the Party and the state, and has been praised by General Secretary Hu Jintao as a "good product that benefits the country and the people". It has also been praised by former Minister of Science and Technology and Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Wan Gang, as China's "Renchuang model".
        Renchuang Technology Group, founded by Qin Shengyi, was born and grew through innovation.
